  • The marketing manager is a broad, hands on role that will suit someone who loves working on multiple projects simultaneously and can inspire people to get involved, whether in speaking at events, joining in company social media activity or writing blog posts.

    The main responsibilities of the role will be to:

    • Create lead generation campaign plans to support the new business team, including conference sponsorship, event planning, direct mail and email campaigns;
    • Create a social communications plan to cover content for our blog, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, and manage its delivery, ensuring that the content is relevant to our business and responds to relevant market events.  Finally, work with the internal teams to ensure that content is amplified;
    • Analyse and report on website traffic, and engagement and adjust activities accordingly to ensure that traffic and engagement continues to grow;
    • Manage the creation of marketing and sales collateral, including case studies, one pagers, direct marketing messaging, sales decks, etc.  This will involve chasing people for input, drafting content and ensuring a consistent style and tone of voice;
    • Manage and report on the day to day marketing budget;
    • In collaboration with the Client Services team, conduct a competitor landscape for the consultancy, update on a regular basis and share your findings;

    Ideal candidates are expected to have the following experience:

    • Demonstrable experience in an in-house marketing role
    • Ideally some experience in a digital agency or consultancy;
    • Experience of managing social media accounts;
    • Knowledge of Wordpress or other CMS, or willingness to learn;
    • Commercially driven, and has experience of working closely with a sales team;
    • Writing for SEO would be beneficial
